You have tried over and over to lose weight. You might have found a great program, but after a week, it doesn't seem so great. You might have even lost interest. Maybe at one time you have tried a quick diet or fasting along with heavy exercise routines. Everyone is different, and therefore their diets and exercise plans also should be. Pay attention to what you drink when you are trying to lose weight. With the exception of water, most beverages have calories of some sort. All the calories from soft drinks, Kool-aid, beer, etc. really add up. When counting your calories, be sure to add in the calories from beverages you drink each day.

Surely everyone loves french fries! Unfortunately, they have wrecked many well-intentioned dieters. There is, however, a healthy french fry alternative that you can bake yourself. Create 1/2" wedges or fries and toss them with a tablespoon of oil, a bit of salt and pepper, and your favorite herbs. Spread them out on a baking sheet, and pop in a 400 degree oven for a half hour. Use a spatula to loosen them, turn them over and let them bake for approximately 10 minutes. They taste great dipped in ketchup and have far fewer calories than the deep fried variety. When attempting to lose weight, stock up on healthy snacks. Try any buy big plastic containers that have lids. Buy plenty of healthy and nutritious vegetables. Chop the vegetable into convenient snacking size and place them in the container with a few ice cubes. Pop them into the refrigerator. That way, you will have a healthy snack that is ready to go.

You can work on your belly by flattening it while seated. To flatten you belly, you can work out the transversus abdominis. Suck your belly inward as much as possible, and keep it there while you do some deep breathing to strengthen this muscle.
